Did you know that the Ford Bronco once dominated the market for SUVs? This vehicle was a well-known SUV because of its incredible power, capability and groundbreaking design. The production of the Ford Bronco started in 1966, and became Ford's first compact SUV. It was equipped with a 4x4 drive and a V8 engine that made it the powerful vehicle it was once known to be. Furthermore, the Ford Bronco was a multi-purpose vehicle whose main competitors were the Jeep CJ models and other off-road vehicles.

In 1991, to celebrate the Ford Bronco's 25th anniversary, Ford offered a brand-new redesign of this vehicle as well as a Silver Anniversary Edition. During the last generation of Ford Broncos the design of this vehicle was based on the Ford F-150. Eventually, though, Ford decided to discontinue the vehicle in 1996. However, the Ford Expedition would soon replace the Ford Bronco in the Ford SUV lineup.

Apparently, the new Ford Bronco will be based on the brand-new 2019 Ford Ranger, since both vehicles share the same platform. For those interested in purchasing the 2020 Ford Bronco, speculatively, the base price should be around $30,000 just like its chief competitor, the Jeep Wrangler. Recently, Ford released a teaser image for the Ford Bronco that depicts a truck under a cover and all we can really tell from that image is the boxy and upright shape of the upcoming vehicle. However, the Ford Bronco Concept appears shortly in the movie Rampage, starring Dwayne Johnson, to give you a better idea of what it may look like. Lastly, Ford also confirmed that the Ford Bronco will also be available with a hybrid drivetrain. So, there is a lot to look forward to with the 2020 Ford Bronco.
