Waiting to get your hands on a new vehicle this year? Here at our north Edmonton dealership, we’re counting down the days until our new line of 2019 models begins to enter our inventory. In the meantime, take a look at a little preview for some of the 2019 Ford models coming soon to Kentwood Ford.
Available now at Kentwood Ford, the Mustang receives only a few new features for 2019 such as adding an active valve exhaust to any four-cylinder EcoBoost engine model and a rev-matching feature to the GT model. However, the biggest news with the 2019 Mustang is the release of the Mustang BULLITT. Named and designed after the iconic film it was inspired by, the BULLITT faithfully recreates the colour scheme from the original 1968 Mustang Steve McQueen drove, while adding an incredible 475-horsepower V8 engine. There’s no doubt the revving from this engine gives off the same intensity as the original film’s famous car chase scene.
Arriving later this year, the 2019 Escape includes new equipment and features for the SE and SEL styles, along with a couple of changes with the exterior paint options. But what’s most exciting with the 2019 Escape will be its newly-designed exterior. Throughout the last year, spy shots of the new Escape show it may have a Focus-inspired shape for the body and the possibility of adding optional third-row seating. Either way, we’re excited to see what’s in store for the new 2019 Escape.
2019 Super Duty
Back with massive towing power and abundant cabin space, the Ford Super Duty offers the best combination for performance, technology, and comfort all within a heavy-duty truck. New for the 2019 Super Duty, a Lariat Sport package will be added to the line-up. The package adds 20-inch wheels, running boards, black exterior trimming, a spray-in bedliner and an all-new B&O Play stereo system that replaces the available Sony system.
As one of the best-selling three-row crossovers in the market, the Ford Explorer gets a couple of upgraded features for its trims on the 2019 year model. For starters, new trim packages are available that includes more active safety tech, while the XLT trim level receives the power tailgate as a new standard feature. Otherwise, the Explorer remains a perfect choice for those looking for a roomy SUV that’s ideal for the whole family.
Coming soon to Kentwood Ford, the 2019 Expedition comes fresh out of last year’s complete redesign for the truck-based SUV after 7 years, with this year’s model including a new special-edition model. Details are sparse for the new Expedition thus far, but the interior remains huge with plenty of passenger space and its strong V6 engine remains as quick and nimble as ever before.
We’ll go more in-depth with each model as they come along, but in the meantime, make sure to stay updated with Kentwood Ford for all the latest news on each 2019 Ford coming soon to our dealership!
