I can still remember the first time I sat in a brand new Ford Mustang. It was a black-on-black '99, and it completely outshone the Taurus my uncle had taken me to buy. When I opened the door and sat down on the Mustang's premium leather seats I knew I'd found my vehicle. Forever. With the 2018 Mustang, I find myself as excited now as I was then.
This legendary vehicle has become even more impressive with time. With its new exterior, digital instrument cluster, and driver-centric cockpit, the 2018 Mustang might be my favourite Mustang ever.
And it's coming to Edmonton's Kentwood Ford.
WHAT'S NEW WITH THE 2018 MUSTANG
The new, and dare I say, sportier Mustang has a renewed swagger thanks to its new fascia, fender frame, and lowered front hood. It has new LED lighting to make your late-night joyrides in Edmonton and beyond even more enjoyable. And the new quad tips of the Mustang GT will make your heart pound when you hear the rumble of its 5.0L V8 engine,
The new Mustang comes with a 10-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration times will be even lower than before thanks to new engine technologies. We don't have horsepower numbers just yet, but Ford promises more horsepower in the 2018 than the 2017.
The 2018 Mustang comes with a brand new, fully digital 12" gauge cluster. This gives you the freedom to control colours, your gauge layout, and selectable Drive Modes to get the absolute most out of your ride. It's fast, it's easy to use, and like everything in a Mustang, it looks great. You can make it look as futuristic or as old school as you'd like.
